Nestled quietly amongst the trees, you will find this charming two-bedroom cottage located
on the fringe of Arakoon National Park.
With Little Bay beach and picnic area at your back door and nearby attractions such as Trial
Bay Gaol, Laggers Point, and the Smoky Cape Lighthouse only a few minutes away, this is the
perfect escape for a weekend of bushwalking, fishing, swimming, and exploring.
The cottage boasts an open plan kitchen, dining, and lounge that spills out through glass
doors to the deck area. You can cook your dinner on the Gas BBQ while relaxing on the
deck.
The main bedroom has a queen bed, while the second bedroom has 3 single beds consisting
of a set of bunks and a trundle. The bathroom features a separate toilet and the laundry is
located downstairs underneath the house with a washing machine and dryer.
This cottage is in the perfect position for a short hike across to Trial Bay Gaol via Monument
Hill walking track and finish the loop back via the Bridle Trail or Powder Magazine track.
Monument Hill is a haven for bird watchers with fantails, wrens, and honeyeaters fluttering
about while hawks, falcons, and ospreys soar above the cliffs and forage along the beaches.
Also, at the right time of year, Little Bay is the perfect whale watching location.
Wildlife is in abundance in the area, however please ensure you keep your distance and
admire from afar. Feeding wildlife is strictly prohibited as it is detrimental to the health and
wellbeing of our precious fauna.
Please note that sheets and towels are not supplied but can be hired for an additional
fee by contacting our office. Strictly no pets are allowed on the property, as the property is
within Arakoon National Park.
